Native Mobile Application vs. Responsive Mobile Website: A Fundamental Business Component.

The seemingly overnight presence of the mobile device has, to put it lightly, revolutionized the way in which we live. The revolution began by allowing us to work more efficiently, by enabling us to quickly read and respond to our emails, then it inevitably seeped into our personal lives through the explosive entrance of social networking. Although a lot of research has been done on the interesting self-implementation of the mobile device a study concerning its impact on start-up businesses, whom are usually stifled by a scarcity of resources, has yet to be conducted. Our study has been designed to evaluate the impacts and compare and contrast the outcomes of using either Native Mobile Applications or Mobile Responsive Websites. After reviewing and categorizing numerous academic and industrial sources we have found that cost of technology, browser compatibility, and security issues all play a role in the effectiveness of these types of technologies and will be major focal points in our conclusion.
